If you watch Rossini's Otello now on medici.tv, it has subtitles. What a terrific opera. The racism is far more blatant than in Verdi, and the role of Desdemona is much stronger. I am more and more a fan of serious Rossini.
We have German, French, English and Italian here. The printed words go by so fast they are hard to read even if you speak German.
