Complete Operas on YouTube

The latest trend is to post complete opera films on YouTube.  This became possible when YT stopped restricting the size of the films.  I'm starting a list that includes only films that show the action.  This can only lead to madness.  These generally come without English subtitles, but most will have plot summaries in Wikipedia.

Early Opera

L'Orfeo by Monteverdi.
L'incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi with Jaroussky.
La Calisto by Cavalli.

High Baroque

Hippolyte et Aricie by Rameau conducted by Emmanuelle Haim
Glyndebourne Giulio Cesare Pt1, Pt2, Pt3.
Salzburg Giulio Cesare Pt1, Pt2, Pt3
Theodora from Glyndebourne with Lorraine Hunt Lieberson.
Semele with Cecilia Bartoli

L'anima del filosofo by Haydn with Bartoli.

Idomeneo with Pavarotti.
I love this Don Giovanni.

Peter Sellars' Don Giovanni, Pt1, Pt2, Pt3.

Bel Canto

I Capuleti e i Montecchi from Paris with Netrebko and DiDonato pt1, pt2.
La Donna del Lago from the Royal Opera.
For fun here is Maria Stuarda with Joyce DiDonato as Elizabeth.

Tannhäuser with Marton and Troyanos from the Met.

Faust from Zurich
Carmen with Kasarova and Kaufmann--badly out of synch.

Turandot in the forbidden city.

Luciano Pavarotti & Mirella Freni in La Bohème in San Francisco.  I think I saw this.
Zeffirelli film of Pagliacci.
Zeffirelli film of Cavalleria Rusticana with Domingo and Obrazova.
The Tosca movie, the one that begins as though we were seeing La Dolce Vita.
Another Tosca, this time with Franco Corelli.

The Met Parsifal with Jonas, Pape and Mattei is also available complete via YT, although I believe it's coming out on DVD. As I recall, you didn't love it, but for me the Parsifal cinecast was a transcendent experience.

I'm not surprised the Munich Lohengrin is gone but the Barenboim one with Jonas and Dasch from La Scala is still up. Bachler has apparently changed his mind and both Il Trovatore and La Forza will be released on DVD.

There's a misunderstanding. It is Parsifal itself I don't like. This particular version of it I found spectacularly good.
