The original Don Ramiro was Roman Vargas. Ms. B was so fond of her experience with Sr. Vargas that st one time there was a plan for the two to do a production of La Sonnambula at the MET. Sadly things did not work out. Ms. B did La Sonnambula (eventually) on recording with JDF.<br /><br />Anyway, I love Garanca's Angelina. She is so perfect in the role.
