There is something truly wonderful about this production of La Fille du Regiment and it successfully transfers to Diana. I was lucky to get to see it.

Cripes! I thought only Natalie Dessay could play this role (stroppy French!) but Diana is very convincing, her accent is excellent and she's bringing th requisite energy to the part. And I like the interaction between her and Tonino which I don't remember from the other productions I've seen.
