Angela

I read in the schedule for the Royal Opera that Angela Gheorghiu will sing Tosca here in June. I begin to think of myself as a Londoner even as I begin to prepare to return home. It would be wonderful to see this. I have bought her album "Live from Covent Garden" and am enchanted.

Angela has a unique, recognizable voice and an extremely emotional personal style. Her "Casta diva" is especially beautiful.
