Pictures of Manon Lescaut
These are photographs of the new production of Puccini's Manon Lescaut that is opening on Saturday in Munich. It is just a tiny bit possible that Kristine is a better choice for this particular production. For more information see here.

Thanks for these pics, which I couldn't find anywhere else. I will listen to the audio stream tomorrow from NY, but do you have any inside info on whether this production will ever be available as a video stream (it's not listed on the Bay Staats website, which I find so weird: new production, with JK, and Bay Staats doesn't want to show it off to the world?). Frustrating, to say the least, not to be able to see it! BTW, you may well be right about KO being a little bit better fit for the character, but I would have loved to hear AN. Hopefully, maybe another time.
When BSO announced their list of streams, they left one space blank. Manon Lescaut will be repeated in the summer, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will fill the remaining place.
I guarantee that AN will sing Manon Lescaut somewhere soon.
