Gertrude Stein in Art

This is a kind of homage to the current exhibition at the San Francisco MOMA of paintings collected by members of the Stein family.

Rose--instead of the virgin enthroned we have Gertrude enthroned.  The white dog is Basket.

Three of these pictures were in the exhibition. The other two are around the corner at the Contemporary Jewish Museum.  There are actually quite a few more. I wonder why the attraction.
