Listening to Rossini made me think of...

This is "Son qual nave" from the Sacrificium album. Forgive me if listening to Rossini made me think of Cecilia.

I totally agree with you, Rossini always leads me to Cecilia. Would share her interpretation of "Yon moon o'er the mountains" please?

So she learned her messa di voce from your training ? Satisfied ?

I chose this as an example because it's fun and because it's very nice. I take neither credit nor blame for the technique of La Gioiosa. I love how she looks so serious at the start.

As an exercise it should be performed more slowly. In particular the decrescendo should be much more gradual. She keeps her head still and the tone steady.
