2012 Grammys

People I have heard of who have been nominated for Grammy awards include:

Natalie Dessay for Cleopatra.

Joyce DiDonato for Diva/Divo.

Andreas Scholl for O Solitude.

Bay Area's Philharmonia Baroque for Haydn Symphonies.

Dudamel for Brahms 4.

Vivaldi Ercole for too many people to list.

I own 3 of these and find them excellent recordings.

There will be no Best Classical Recording this year.
